Huaneng Renewables Corporation Limited, formerly Huaneng New Energy Industrial Co., Ltd., is engaged in wind power generation and sale in People's Republic of China. As of June 30, 2011, it had 3,712.9 megawatt of consolidated installed capacity of wind power. As of June 30, 2011, the Company had a portfolio of wind power pipeline projects with a capacity of 78,462.5 megawatt. As of June 30, 2011, the Company had registered 37 Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) projects, among which 14 projects with a total capacity of 900 megawatt were registered during the fiscal year ended June 30, 2011 (fiscal 2011); a total of 55 projects were approved by the relevant Development and Reform Commission (DRC), among which nine projects with a total capacity of 696 megawatts were approved in during fiscal 2011. Huaneng Shantou Nan'ao Wind Power Company Limited (Nan'ao Power) is a subsidiary of the Company.
